Sample Chapter 7
Man's relegation and His likely Successor
Hindsight seems to be man's major weakness and it could be right here that external forces could be taking advantage. Man knows, he is the most superior being on earth and is sitting pretty as a result. Unless some other superior creature is discovered soon, he has no reason to fret or worry. To make matters worse, man will only admit inferiority to something that is living. So anything otherwise, that comes forth, could be able to take-over man without him ever suspecting it. This is especially so, if the very threat comes from a creation of man himself. And that's where we have a wave that the Supreme Being and his alter ego might be riding on. It seems, they have a knack for taking cover in the most unlikely of places. Places where man's follies seem to thrive.
It's okay to feel like brushing mywork aside. It's okay to see it as just another doomsday story even though being fore-warned is still being fore-armed. If I am wrong, take heart that at least somebody is alert and watching. However, also watch out, just in case clairvoyance has been embodied in me.
Graham Bell struggled for years to come up with his crude phone. Nobody, at the time, ever imagined we would be able to communicate and get enslaved by phones like we are today. Even Graham Bell would collapse and die, if he were to be brought back to life to see the result of his creation. So, I won't blame you for not taking my work seriously. After all, history comes after the event and man's folly ensures that he gets wiser easier thereafter.
Well, I have a possible newsflash for the future. Due to our folly, there could be a strong reason to believe something—or some living things —could be closing in to take over from us. Add the possibility of an out of this world schemer pointing us towards "The Grand Counter Test" and you might also start seeing in "4D."
Let's first look at one of man's challengers for the top slot. For that, I choose to look at one of the life's minute forms. Yes, it's HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)! According to me—and perhaps you should too—I choose to give it serious respect, for its incredible survival ability. It's gotten into a host that is unable to keep tabs on how it spreads. In fact its host's actions has actually helped it multiply beyond its wildest dreams.
When it first entered the human race, it was unable to control the devastation of its host and live in it for as long as it would have liked. However, somehow due to its actions, man has managed to now make it live inside him longer like it has done with the primates. Isn't that just clever! You will also note that it's managed to enter a smart host; one that has the mind to control it but cannot do so. Not that it has won flat out but it has given us a good run for our money and continuing.
I believe that when one is faced by a strong adversary, at least be aware and appreciate its strengths then, look at your weaknesses and try to continuously halve them. That way, you turn them into strengths. That's one sure way of beating your adversaries. But when I look at man and his sexual liberated ways these days, I'm left with a strong reason to believe man has instead multiplied his weaknesses. And all we're left with is the bitter after-taste of admitting that the AIDS virus is a superior creature.
There is also another possibility from a rather unlikely source. Due to our folly, there could be a strong reason to believe that machines could one day take over the world. We can be able to deduce this from observing our very own homes; plus observing global trends and how man is frantically trying to keep up with it. Just take your time and think about it. In the years so gone by, there were no machines. Then man started the industrial revolution and came up with simple machines at first. Today they have grown all complex and are literally controlling our lives. If you think critically, you will see it's probably very true.
Look at yourself and count how many machines and related devices, are on you right now. Note how they will influence and dictate how the rest of your day will go. Think about loosing all the machines in your procession and the ones you can visibly see. Think about loosing the others that you use regularly. What if they just disappeared or moved away! What will you be able to do and not do? If you won't be back in the wild, then you might be a shadow of your former self.
Machines dictate how and when we get up. They dictate some of the foods we eat and how we can eat them. They dictate where and how fast we travel. They even dictate how we behave towards one another. Look at anyone nearby. How many machines are on him or her? How many machines are sitting somewhere waiting to get a kick or shot of activity? Think critically on who the slave is and who is the master here? Who depends on whom?
Man might think, he controls machines but it's hardly so. Machines don't need anything from us and hence are never at out mercy. You can test that. Put a machine and man in one room and lock them for a week. It's man who will move towards the machine and not the other way round; especially if the machine can dispense food. The machine could sit there for years and not move. It doesn't care even if it's getting destroyed in the process. It will stand its ground and not be moved at all. It's man or nature that will have to do the moving.
You might argue, that it's man that makes the machine work. And you are right to think so. But what if that's just one important facet of the evolution of machines. Maybe, it's man's stupid job to keep on creating and developing machines until a time when they will take-over. Maybe, they are ensuring their numbers spread all over the world first. Maybe, they want man to develop more dependency on them. The day they will be fully evolved and in charge of man's major activities, maybe man's resistance will not be so great; when they announce the take-over. At least the words “Hostile take-over” will not be so alien then.
You can read the rest of this topic in my book, to see who or what else is gearing for the first postion. Thereafter you will be free to make your own counter strategy. Our future could depend on your actions you know!.
Personally, I believe we're being herded home. But our stubborness means the whips, like the one mentioned in this topic, have to be used. Read on to know the rest.
