John Lerrato's Supreme Being Checklist

I have seen and heard a many people bashing each other's religious and belief systems and became saddened and inspired at the same time. Personally, I believe all this bashing is unnecessary.

According to my theory in “The End” a true Supreme Being ought to be powerful enough to be the leading light in all religious and creation beliefs. You cannot say your Supreme Being is all powerful and then be able to come up with what he or she cannot be or do. It's a contradiction many people fail to see.

The Sikhs believe in a single, formless God, with many names, who can be known through meditation? Did you also know that this concept is similar to Islam whose followers believe in a single God who has 99 names! I’m yet to study each and every religion, but I found it a little interesting and relevant to my viewpoint.

Here is a list of some of the religious beliefs in this world. Can you see any religion in this list that your Supreme Being cannot be part of, considering he can be anything and nothing at the same time.

1. Muslim God
2. Christian God
3. Buddhist God
4. African Traditional God or Gods
5. Hindu God or Gods
6. Mayan God or Gods
7. Jewish God
8. Bahá'í Faith God
9. Sikh God
10. Shinto Gods
11. Taoist God Dao
12. Druids Gods and Goddesses
13. Goddesses of the Goddess worship religion
16. Wicca God and Goddesses
17. Jewish God
18 Other Gods

I hope you get the drift. We may be doing nothing but shooting at our own feet when we bash each other's religions; those believing in no God included. Well, you make your conclusion. Meanwhile, please click here and participate in this survey. Let’s see what you think.
