The End

When one observes bees collecting pollen, one easily assumes that nature has them pollinate flowers unknowingly. To the bees, pollen and nectar might simply be key ingredients to making honey. Such an assumption can be used to explain how nature or the Supreme Being might have equipped man with some super-efficient blinders or blind-folds—that even scientists can't detect—to help carryout his or its own agenda.

The fact of the matter is that the human race is in a great dilemma and there are only three possible reasons. We are either wired, fired or learning.

I certainly don't know if the human race is facing an end or not; the way true prophets would have. And it might be because no one is ever to know. Or it might be that we will see our follies in the nick of time and reverse-back some devastating trends.

But what is certain is that Mother Nature is slowly nearing her threshold. And with no major efforts in sight, man risks continuing with the fatal-stasis of the end-times; with pitch-black blinders on, I must add. The sad thing is that when that time arrives, nothing will be left to stop it. It happened to the dinosaurs, meaning it can also happen to some other creature. Living forever in the universe—one of man’s unrelenting quests—will just turn out to be mirage.

It might be right to say that if one doesn't make mistakes, one doesn't make anything. However, it's even better if one can make enough to cater for one's mistakes. With this regard, I'm tempted to take-on a wait and see position; though that is akin to waiting to see if I'll go hungry. Or waiting to see if I'll ever fall asleep or ever die, for that matter!

According to me, man might be victim of a grand scheme by a Supreme Being. But like many other end of the world and doomsday theories etc. chances are high that I am wrong. But if we were quicky to eat the wrong fruits to know wrong, why are we dragging our feet on activites that are hoping to make us know right! Is it our wiring! Or did the "lead designer" stage it this way?

"The Grand Test" I suggest, aims to solve the uncertainties and human suffering once and for all. If a Supreme Being exists and the test I suggest is carried out, he will definitely be impressed by mankind. He will most likely cut us some slack and give us the end we want. If none exists, then we will at least finally establish that.
